How to Get a Tie Dimple?
Pinching the fabric as you tighten the knot can create a refined and timeless look.
A tie dimple adds dimension and can be the sign of a well-tied tie. Create a tie dimple by pinching the fabric just below the knot with your index finger and thumb while tightening the knot. Then gently pull the knot upward to set the dimple in place.

- Pinch the tie fabric approximately one inch below the knot as you're finishing the final tightening motion.
- The tie dimple works best with silk or textured ties that hold their shape.
- The tie dimple should be centered directly below the knot.
