RETURN POLICY

Items must be unworn, in new condition and postmarked within 30 days of the purchase date. Please also include the original packing slip when returning any items.

RETURNS + EXCHANGES [DOMESTIC]

To request a return or exchange, simply complete and submit your order information through our online Returns/Exchanges Form

After submitting the Returns Form, a link to your mailing label will be emailed to you. Print the pre-paid shipping label from the e-mail and attach to your return package.

For exchanges, simply search and select the replacement items you wish to receive.

PLEASE NOTE: A $5.99 fee will be charged for returning items using the provided label. Using this label is not required. Exchanges will be shipped back to you free of charge.

Please send the unwanted products to our address with your chosen shipping provider. Any international packages shipped imposing duty payment upon us will be refused by The Tie Bar.

GIFT RETURNS + EXCHANGES

Purchases made between November 16th and December 31st must be postmarked by February 12th for a refund or an exchange.

Monogrammed items are final sale and not eligible for return. Promo items cannot be returned for credit or exchanged for something different. When returning an order where a promo item was received, please include the promo item within the return.

Received a gift that's not your style? No problem. We will issue store credit for the value of your unwanted item. Simply email us at GiftReturns@thetiebar.com with the below details:


Your name and phone number
The purchaser’s name and/or email
Order ID (included on packing slip if gift was shipped directly)
Item Description/Quantity (include a picture if that helps!)

After submitting the email, a link to your mailing label will be emailed to you (please allow one business day). Print the pre-paid shipping label from the e-mail and attach to your return package.

Once we have received your return, you will be emailed a gift code for the value of your return. Happy shopping!

ADDITIONAL RETURN + EXCHANGE FAQs:

When purchasing through PayPal any unwanted items can be returned for a refund but cannot be exchanged.

If items were purchased through Amazon, the return must be processed through Amazon.com directly.

When can I expect my refund?
Refunds will be issued within five to ten business days of initiating the return, depending on your financial institution. A transaction receipt will be e-mailed from your refund has been processed Please contact the card-issuing bank with questions about when the credit will be posted to your account.

When can I expect my exchange?
Exchange items are shipped within 1-2 business days of receiving the exchange request. An email will be sent including the shipping information much like your original order.

Can I make a return in your store?
You can make online returns in our flagship store in Chicago. Unfortunately, we cannot currently take online returns in our pop-up locations.

Any credits for your return will be issued back to the original credit card. We do not refund shipping charges. Refunds will be issued within five to ten business days of initiating the return, depending on your financial institution. Please contact the card-issuing bank with questions about when the credit will be posted to your account.

We don't offer prepaid labels for customers residing outside the contiguous US. For these customers, please send back the materials to our address with your chosen shipping provider. If you are returning a shipment internationally, be sure to mark it with NO VALUE. Any international packages shipped to us that are marked with any value (thus imposing duty payment upon us) will be refused by The Tie Bar.

*Please note that our return policy does not apply to Gift Cards or Tie of the Month Club members. All wholesale, custom or specially-placed orders are final sale, no returns accepted.

By law, we are obligated to apply our return policy in a uniform manner, so if you are returning any items, be sure that it is within our 30-day policy. Otherwise, we cannot accept your return.
