About the designer

Leah Duncan, a self-taught textile and home goods designer, embarked on her creative journey in 2008 with a flourishing Etsy shop. Her designs quickly gained international recognition, leading to collaborations with brands and the release of her distinctive fabric collection. Known for her earthy modern style, Leah’s work reflects a playful yet sophisticated aesthetic.

Growing up in a small southern town, Leah now divides her time between Austin, Texas, and Asheville, North Carolina, where she finds inspiration in nature alongside her partner and two daughters. Her heart lies between the Appalachian Mountains and the high desert of Trans-Pecos in far west Texas. Despite a hiatus to prioritize family, Leah is gradually returning to creating ethically sourced textiles and art objects, each piece reflecting her unique sensibility and soft color palettes. Grounded in a deep love for nature, Leah's work embodies simplicity and beauty with quirky and organic themes.
