The Tie Bar Rewards Program Overview
1. Free Membership
No purchase is necessary to obtain membership in the Program. Customer is required to set up an account and provide name, email address and mailing address.
You must be age 16 years or older to be eligible for membership. Membership in the Program is limited to individuals only and is limited to one account per individual. Persons under the age of 16 ("minors") must obtain their parents' or legal guardians' consent prior to participation. By signing up for the Program, you agree that you are over the age of 16 (or if you are a Minor, that your parent or legal guardian has consented), and you agree (or, if you are a Minor, your parent or legal guardian agrees) to be bound by these terms and conditions.
To enroll in the Program, you must provide your first name, last name, mailing address and email address. The Program is void where prohibited by law. Members are entitled to only one Member Account. Your Points, Bar Bucks (Rewards Dollars) and your account under The Tie Bar Reward Program are personal to you and may not be sold, transferred or assigned to, or shared with family, friends or others. You may join the Reward Program to become a member by visiting www.thetiebar.com/loyalty-rewards-program
4. Access/Change Member Information
Members must keep their personal information on their Program Membership Account (the "Account") up to date by visiting the Website.
5. Online Account Maintenance
Once you are a registered user of the Website, you may view a summary of your Account on the Website. After logging on to the Website, simply click on the "My Account" link in the header of the Website homepage and change any information on your account.
6. Member Cancellation
You may cancel your Program membership at any time by sending an email to email@example.com. Upon cancellation, any unused Points or Bar Bucks accrued in your account will be forfeited and cannot be redeemed, and you will no longer be eligible for any Program benefits.
Reward Program Benefits
1. All Members
All members, no matter what tier, can earn Points with purchase of all items on thetiebar.com and all Tie Bar stores.
2. Earning Rate
Members earn one (1) Point for every one dollar ($1) spent on all apparel, accessories, neckwear and gifts. Members cannot earn points on gift cards, e-gift certificates, or subscription products. When a member reaches 100 Points they will receive a $5 Bar Buck to be used on thetiebar.com or a Tie Bar retail store only.
3. Addition of Points to Account
Points earned for qualifying purchases made on the website will be issued 30 days from the date the order was shipped, or the date the order was made in the store. The timing for issuing Points is subject to change.
Members earn Points only on the purchase price of qualifying products if they are logged on to the Website or if they give their Account email in a Tie Bar store. Calculation of Points excludes payment by the Member for shipping charges and all taxes, including without limitation, federal, state, and local taxes or use taxes. Program Points will not be earned on any discounts or other credits offered in connection with a product: (a) For example, if a product priced at $19 is on sale for $9.50, a Member will only earn points on the purchase price of $9.50. Purchases of gift cards or subscription products, redemption of store credit, and any type of price adjustments, including merchandise returns, are not eligible for Points (b) on all purchases made (i) by a Member prior to such Member joining the Program; or (ii) on the Website without a Member being logged onto the Member's Account.
Points earned for a purchase that is then the subject of a return, refund, returned check due to non-sufficient funds, or other credit, will be deducted from the Member's Account in an amount equal to the points earned for the original transaction, including any bonus Points. If a return should give your Account a negative point balance, a zero account balance will be placed into your Account. Any Bar Bucks used for a purchase will be refunded to the customer after the other forms of payment have been refunded.
Points earned by a member can be redeemed for money off, in the form of Bar Bucks, for products purchased on www.thetiebar.com or a Tie Bar retail location only. Bar Bucks cannot be used at other locations or websites were The Tie Bar is available.
2. Gift Cards
Bar Bucks cannot be used toward the purchase of gift cards.
When a member reaches 100 Points they will automatically receive a $5 Bar Buck to their account. A member can use this Bar Buck to make a purchase on the www.thetiebar.com or a Tie Bar retail location. To redeem a Bar Buck, members must have an account and be a registered user of the website and Program. Bar Bucks can only be used on qualifying products, Gift Cards and as a payment of shopping or tax. Gift Cards may not be returned or redeemed for cash except as required by law.
Points earned but not yet used to issue a Bar Buck to you will expire on the earlier of three (3) years from the last day of the year in which the points were earned, or when your account is closed. Bar Bucks expire one (1) year after issue, and other Program benefits not used expire at the end of the current calendar year.
Points and Bar Bucks accumulated on different Accounts of different Members may not be shared, transferred, combined or aggregated to make purchases of products or for any other reason. Points earned in a transaction cannot be redeemed in the same transaction.
By joining the Program, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth in these Program rules. The Tie Bar reserves the right to cancel, modify, or restrict any aspect of the Program, including, without limitation, the point conversion ratio, the point expiration policy and the Bar Buck expiration policy, at any time. Any changes can be made without advance notice and any such changes would be stated in an updated version of these Terms. The Tie Bar may make changes to these rules even though such changes may affect the Member's ability to use Points already accumulated.
A Member's Point or Bar Bucks balance, as reflected in The Tie Bar's records, shall be deemed conclusive and correct. The Tie Bar reserves the right to determine the amount of Points or Bar Bucks in any Member's account based on internal records related to such Member's Account. In the event of an inconsistency between the amount accrued in a Member's Account and The Tie Bar's internal records, The Tie Bar's internal records will control. The Tie Bar assumes no responsibility for errors caused by incorrect Member information. The sale of Points and Bar Bucks is prohibited and may result in the confiscation or cancellation of your Points, as well as suspension or termination of your membership, which in each case shall be final and conclusive.
The Tie Bar may revoke any Membership in the Program at any time if such Member engages in abuse of the Program or fails to follow these Terms. Fraud or abuse relating to the accrual of Points or Bar Bucks or redemption of Bar Bucks may result in revocation of membership in the Program and may affect a Member's eligibility for participation in any other The Tie Bar Program.
